Change your username

Pick a new username for your page. Links to the old one keep working, and the old name stays yours.

Updated October 23, 2026

Your username is your page's address, like logfolio.co/yourname. You can change it on any plan, once every 30 days.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the account menu, then the Account tab.
  2. Under Username, type the new one. The line under the box shows your new address.
  3. Click Change username, read what happens, and click Change username again to confirm.

What happens

  • Your page, entries and notes move to the new address.
  • Links to your old username, and the card on your website, keep working and take people to the new address.
  • Your old username stays yours. Nobody else can take it, and you can switch back to it.

Good to know

  • Usernames are 3 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores, not starting or ending with an underscore.
  • After a change, the next one has to wait 30 days. Settings → Account shows the date.
  • While your page is private, links to your old username show "not found", so they don't give away the new one.
  • The card on your website still works, but copy the new line from Settings → Embed when you can, so it doesn't go through the old address.
  • Deleting your account frees your current and old usernames.
